Let me introduce myself…

My name is Alyssa.
As a little girl who grew up on a small farm in Southwest Washington, family values were something ingrained in me. Growing up my mother has always been the epitome of a perfect homemaker. I know it sounds cliché, but ever since my childhood I have always wanted to be everything my mom was. She raised me on values that a lot of people might consider old school, but one that has stuck with me since forever, has been that when something is broken, we fix it. As a child she made sure I knew how to sew and knit at a young age even buying me my very own sewing machine at the age of 12. Although at the time, I was more concerned with keeping up with my 3 brothers doing outside farm things; So while I knew the basic concept of sewing, I never really did anything with the knowledge…until I became the Mamma to my first daughter in June of 2019. We had just bought our first house and were looking for ways to save a little on the piling baby expenses. So I decided to act like my mother before be and start sewing my own baby clothes and accessories. With the little knowledge of sewing I had still tucked away in my brain, and a few refresher courses with my mom, I quickly became obsessed with the fulfilling feeling of providing my Everly with handmade things. My childhood church always did an annual Christmas Bizarre, and my family and friends insisted that I make some things for it and see how I do! From October through December, you would find me at my kitchen table, cutting fabric, ironing, and sewing all the bows and other baby goodies I could. By the time the Bizarre came around, I had talked myself into turning this hobby into a small business, and created an Etsy account. Now I am the mother to three beautiful , and our bow collection has grown to an almost obnoxious level…and yet there are never enough.

I thank God for my mom who equipped me with the knowledge to make this dream of mine a reality, and a loving husband that not only puts up with all my trips to the fabric store, but supports me in every way possible. I also thank YOU for deciding to take a moment to learn about why I decide to start this business and send a little bit of my family love over to yours!
